This Privacy Policy describes how Barker Technologies AB, a company registered in Sweden, operating as ProductionPlanner.io ("we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our website, web application, and associated services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password.
- Profile information: You may optionally provide a profile photo, phone number, or other details.
- Project content: Schedules, files, budgets, tasks, messages, notes, and other content you create or upload within the Service.
- Payment information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed by our third-party payment processor. We do not store your full credit card number.
- Support requests: When you contact us, we collect the information you provide in your message.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: We collect anonymous usage analytics including pages visited, features used, and general interaction patterns.
- Device information: Browser type, operating system, and screen resolution.
- Log data: IP address, access times, and referring URLs.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Create and manage your account
- Process payments and manage subscriptions
- Send service-related communications (account verification, security notices, billing)
- Send product updates and announcements (you may opt out at any time)

- Monitor and analyze usage to improve the Service

3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With your team: Information you add to a project (such as your name, profile photo, messages, and uploaded files) is visible to other members of that project, subject to the permission settings configured by the project owner.
- Service providers: We use third-party services to help operate the Service. These providers only have access to the information necessary to perform their functions and are obligated to protect it. Our current providers include:
- Firebase (Google Cloud) -- hosting, authentication, database, and file storage
- Postmark -- transactional email delivery
- Pirsch -- privacy-friendly website analytics
- Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, or legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers provided by Google Cloud (Firebase). We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
While we take reasonable steps to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account:
- Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days
- Backups containing your data will be purged within 90 days
- Anonymous, aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained indefinitely
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete your personal information and account
- Export your data in a portable format
- Object to or restrict certain processing of your information
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
You can exercise most of these rights directly through the Service (account settings, data export, account deletion). For any requests you cannot fulfill through the Service, contact us via our support page.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies required for the Service to function (such as authentication tokens). We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Our analytics provider (Pirsch) is privacy-friendly and does not use cookies or track users across websites.
8. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States (where Google Cloud infrastructure is located). By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this policy.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice within the Service before the changes take effect. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
